Dr. Charles Klettke, founding owner of eyedesigns, graduated from the University of Waterloo as a Doctor of Optometry in 1978. He has practiced in Calgary since 1979.

Dr. Klettke is an active member of the Alberta College of Optometrists Competency Committee, the Doctor's Eyecare Network and the Alberta Association of Optometrists. He provides full scope optometric services to patients of all ages and has a special interest in contact lens care. He has participated in several eye care projects in developing nations, including the Philippines, Nicaragua, Belize and Mexico.

Dr. Klettke is actively involved in his church, enjoys cruising the countryside on his motorcycle, traveling with his wife Rita and children Sarah, Joel, and Janelle, visiting with friends or reading a good book.
